Faribault Office

Our Faribault office has a unique history. Originally a church, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a vibrant activity center where the people we support can learn, connect, and have fun together.

As you walk up the sidewalk on Lincoln Avenue during the summer, you’ll be welcomed by a beautiful raised memorial garden created by one of the individuals we support in honor of his late sister. It serves as a meaningful reminder of the connections and community that make Alee Services special.

When you enter the building, you’ll find a comfortable conference room that seats up to eight people for meetings and trainings. One of the highlights of our Faribault office is our spacious main activity room. This large gathering space is used every day for activities and includes a new carpet ball game and massage chair. It also hosts many of our larger events when our area offices come together. With seating for approximately 80 people, it’s the perfect place for Bingo, live music, trivia, game nights, holiday celebrations, and other special events.

Just off the main activity room is a peaceful sensory room designed for relaxation and recharging. It features a hanging basket chair, calming LED lighting, and a sound machine, providing a quiet space to unwind, regroup, or simply enjoy a few moments of calm.

Our main floor also includes a dedicated staff training room, an extensive selection of games, puzzles, and activities, as well as two restrooms. From there, you can step outside into our fenced backyard, where individuals enjoy relaxing, practicing cooking skills on the grill, and spending time outdoors.

Downstairs, you’ll discover “Angie’s Dream Kitchen.” When we bought the building, we designed a large kitchen specifically for teaching cooking and independent living skills. Featuring two stoves, one on each side of the room, a spacious center island, and seating for more than 40 people if needed, it’s the perfect space for multiple individuals to prepare meals, learn new recipes, and enjoy eating together. This floor also has a washer and dryer and a bathroom.

Upstairs, you’ll find two Program Manager offices, along with another smaller activity area designated for recreation and wellness. This space includes foosball, an exercise bike, yoga equipment, a Wii gaming system, and a television used for Zumba classes, exercise programs, and educational videos. On cold or rainy days, it’s the perfect spot to relax and spend time with peers.

Across the hall is our Makerspace and craft room, filled with a wide variety of creative supplies. An additional work table offers a quieter environment for those who enjoy working on crafts, hobbies, or independent skill-building projects in a peaceful setting.

Our Faribault office blends history, creativity, learning, and community into one welcoming space where individuals are encouraged to build independence, develop new skills, and create lasting friendships.
